In today’s video, we are doing my big 2025 Trends Roundup video, and this is one of my favorite videos to film. It is so much fun talking about all of the new and upcoming trends, the ones that are sticking around, and the things that might be going away. I think that there is definitely a way that you can incorporate them in small ways into your wardrobe without overhauling your entire wardrobe. For each of these trends, I have done a little edit of pieces that are very similar on the High Street. So, if any of these trends really speak to you, maybe you have them in your own wardrobe already and you can start styling them, or if you would like to pick up something from this trend, I will have shoppable edits for each of the trends linked in my description below.
1. Baby Pink Hues
The first trend we’re going to talk about is a color trend, and it is baby pink hues. You might be someone who does not enjoy wearing baby pink. I actually don’t know if I have anything in my wardrobe that is baby pink, so this might be one of those trends that I will admire and enjoy from afar. I may incorporate it in small ways into my wardrobe. This trend encompasses the more natural, neutral baby pink as opposed to the fuchsia pink that we saw last year. Think pastel, ballerina core, fresh feminine soft pinks, which are actually easier to style in our wardrobes. When you look at a very pale blush pink, it’s almost like a cream neutral in itself.
2. Mocha Moose and New Neutrals
It was announced that the Pantone color of the year for 2025 is the shade Mocha Moose, a very neutral creamy light brown color. This comes under the new neutrals trend, which includes colors like taupes, olives, and muted browns—very earthy natural colors that we see in nature as opposed to neutrals like blacks and whites. This trend is very easy to style, and you probably already have these shades in your wardrobe.
3. Polished Boho
The next big trend for 2025 is polished boho. This Bohemian trend was very much seen on the catwalks with oversized ruffles and exaggerated silhouettes. Think of things like oversized ruffle blouses, wide-leg jeans with a slight ’70s bell-bottom style, waistcoats, suede detailing, and corduroy fabrics. It’s a more polished, updated look on the boho trend that we saw in the early 2000s.
4. Suede and Corduroy Fabrics
Suede was massive for 2024, and it’s not going anywhere in 2025. We’re seeing lighter hues of suede for spring/summer, like baby blues, creams, and beiges. Corduroy is another great option as it is often less expensive than suede but still has that textured, vintage style. Look for corduroy jackets, trousers, and shirts.
5. Elevated Athleisure
Athleisure wear continues to be a trend because it is practical and stylish. Elevated athleisure includes feminine touches like wrapped cardigans and softer knits in baby pink hues. Trainers remain a big part of this trend, with slim trainers like the Adidas Samba, Onitsuka Tigers, and Puma Speed Cats being popular choices.
6. Coastal Grandpa
This fun aesthetic is inspired by a nautical, heritage, vintage look with a whimsical twist. Think of fisherman stripes, boat neck long sleeve striped shirts, quirky knits, and cardigans. It’s a quirky heritage style, perfect for those who enjoy a bit of nostalgia in their wardrobe.
7. Return of Maximalism
Maximalism is making a comeback, moving away from the minimalist clean girl aesthetic. It’s all about more is more, with clashing prints, colors, and accessories. Think of printed tights, quirky brooches, custom buttons, and statement accessories.
8. Heritage Aesthetic
The heritage aesthetic includes traditional vintage-inspired fabrics like tweed, bouclĂ©, check print, and wax jackets. It’s practical and stylish, perfect for those who enjoy the old countryside chic look.
9. Sheer Details
Sheer details are big for 2025, especially in party wear. Think of lace, mesh, and see-through pieces. Creamy, neutral-colored lace is particularly popular for the spring/summer season.
10. Denim Trends
Denim is a staple, but we see trends within denim. The barrel leg or horseshoe leg jeans are still huge for 2025. We’re also seeing the continuation of denim shirts and jackets. Slim jeans are back, but in a more wearable and chic way than before.
11. Statement Accessories
Statement accessories are big for 2025, including statement brooches, belts, and oversized jewelry. Think of vintage-inspired pieces, double belts, embellished belts, and quirky necklaces.
12. Animal Prints
Animal prints are not just about leopard print for 2025. We’re seeing a variety of animal prints like snake skin, cowhide, and zebra. These prints add a fun and quirky touch to your wardrobe.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the fashion trends for 2025 are diverse and exciting. From baby pink hues to polished boho, suede and corduroy fabrics, elevated athleisure, coastal grandpa, maximalism, heritage aesthetic, sheer details, denim trends, statement accessories, and animal prints, there’s something for everyone. Incorporate these trends into your wardrobe in small ways to stay stylish and ahead of the fashion curve in 2025.
